Job summary

The Rasmussen Group is seeking a Trailer Operator to safely load, transport, unload, and position trailers for construction and transportation operations. You will coordinate with dispatch and other teams to ensure efficient trailer movements and maintain equipment standards.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, securing loads, and assisting with yard organization. Candidates should have a Class A CDL (airbrakes) and any related heavy equipment experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess Class A CDL with air brakes.
• Experience operating trucks, trailers, or heavy equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Post-offer drug testing, background check, and MVR verification required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate trucks and equipment to move trailers between facilities, jobsites, and customer locations.
• Hook and unhook trailers with proper connections and securement.
• Perform pre-trip, in-trip, and post-trip inspections and document results.
• Inspect trailers for damage, wear, tires, lights, brakes, and safety equipment.
