Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling in Indiana is seeking a Tractor Trailer Driver responsible for hauling waste, recyclables, and leachate to disposal sites or plants. You will perform pre/post trip inspections, log maintenance, and interact with customers professionally.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL (Tanker Endorsement preferred), 1–2 years of CDL experience, ability to read maps, and willingness to work nights or weekends. The role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years CDL truck driving experience required.
• General knowledge of truck mechanics is a plus.
• Must have valid Class A CDL and DOT medical card.
• Must be at least 19 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck safely in compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Routinely enter/exit truck multiple times daily.
• Maintain and update route and driver log sheets.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete logs.
• Interact professionally with customers to provide excellent service.
• Assist Roll Off line of business by operating Roll Off truck as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
