Job summary

Clayton is seeking a Class A CDL Driver – Toter Driver to transport oversized and overweight loads with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance. You will report to the Terminal Manager and collaborate with Driver Supervisors and multiple teams to coordinate permits, routes, and on-time deliveries.

The role emphasizes maintaining accurate paperwork, performing pre-trip inspections, and delivering a high standard of service at retail locations with attention to safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with extensive experience preferred.
• Must meet FMCSR/DOT requirements and maintain medical DOT card.
• English proficiency required for safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Transport oversized and overweight loads safely within the region.
• Perform daily maintenance checks and operate electronic logs.
• Coordinate permits with pilot/escort drivers and load scheduling.
• Deliver and place loads at assigned retail locations; complete paperwork.
• Provide route information and best practices to the oversized load team.
