Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Team Driver to haul van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between service centers and turn-point locations. Our teams travel for 5 days and return home for 2 days each week, enabling consistent freight movement with a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• CDL/Class A license required.
• At least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving in the last 3 years.
• Good MVR/PSP with limited violations in 3 years.
• Must be 23 years old (21 with FMCSA military waiver).
• DOT physical and drug screen pre-employment required.
• Must pass a road test and operate equipment safely.
• Able to bend, lift and stoop as needed.
• Reliable and dependable driver.

Job description

. As a Team Driver, you will be tasked with pulling van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between our service centers and/or turn-point locations.All our teams are on the road for 5 days and home for 2 days every week.

Requirements

• CDL Class A
• 1 yr. combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years.
• Age 23, 21 if successfully met the FMCSA specs to transition from military to civilian CDL
• Must be able to operate equipment safely at all times
• Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen
• Must be able to complete a successful road test
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Must be dependable

Preferred

• Drivers with Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz-mat CDL endorsements
• Experienced hauling Haz-mat
• Experienced pulling doubles
• Any LTL freight experience
