Job summary

TransAm is seeking a CDL-A Team Truck Driver in the Omaha, NE area. Join a team driving arrangement with sleeper berth sharing to maximize weekly miles and pay.

Eligible drivers have a CDL-A, a minimal driving history, pass DOT physical, and will benefit from benefits like health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k), paid vacation, 24/7 dispatch support, modern equipment, and a referral bonus program.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license required.
• Minimum 3 months verifiable CDL-A driving experience.
• Clean MVR with no more than 3 minor violations in 3 years.
• No DUI/DWI convictions.
• Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.
• No at-fault preventable accidents in past 3 years.
• Must be located within or willing to operate in the carrier's hiring area.

Responsibilities

• Operate in CDL-A team driving setup (one rests while the other drives).
• Follow safety and DOT regulations.
• Coordinate with co-driver for miles and rest schedules.
• Maintain logs and report discrepancies.

• Team rates are typically higher per mile than solo positions

Requirements & Qualifications
