Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) seeks drivers to safely operate DFA tank trailers, transporting raw milk from farms to plants. Follow dispatch schedules and driver supervisor directions, ensuring compliance with DOT and DFA policies. Maintain efficient fuel use and minimize idle time.

Position requires Class A CDL with tanker endorsement (or ability to obtain). High school or equivalent preferred; 1 year CDL A driving experience mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A CDL
• Must have, or be able to obtain, a tanker endorsement
• High school or equivalent preferred
• CDL A driving: 1 year (Required)

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT, DFA policies
• Some strenuous work involving lifting, connecting hoses, disconnecting hoses
• Ladder climbing to access top of tank trailers and farm tanks
• Hooking and unhooking trucks and trailers
• Maintain positive communications with producers, customers, and employees
• Represents DFA positively and professionally
