Job summary

Henner Tank Lines, Inc. is seeking local Class-A drivers to join our employee-owned, family-like team at the Stockton terminal. Pm shifts are available, full-time five-on two-off schedule, with some flexible options.

Drivers earn $32–$34 per hour, with a $2 hazardous safety bonus per hour, overtime on bonuses, and double-time on company holidays. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401k; weekend shifts add $1 per hour.

Qualifications

• Three years of verifiable Class-A driving experience (manual transmission).
• Current tanker endorsement.
• Current Haz-Mat endorsement.
• Doubles / Triples endorsement.
• TWIC card.
• Medical Certificate.
• DOT Drug Test.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and work 12-hour shifts.
• Snow chain experience or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Safe product handling, product quality assurance, and transport per regulations and company goals.
• Pickup and drop-off of Petroleum Products.
• Keep truck properly maintained and follow safety regulations.
• Maintain communication with dispatch about delays or issues.
• Perform daily DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections and inform maintenance of issues.
• Maintain a daily DOT E-Log.
• Keep vehicle neat and tidy.
• Comply with safety and performance standards.

Description

Class A Fuel Transportation Driver

Henner Tank Lines, Inc., a leading contract carrier, is currently seeking local Class-A drivers to join our team. As an employee-owned and locally operated company, we value our drivers as integral members of our family, not just as numbers in an out-of-state operation.

Pm shifts are available at our Stockton terminal. We offer full-time employment at five-on two-off standard schedules. We have some flexibility in schedule options if you have a special circumstance - first come first serve! Henner Tank Lines maintains year-round steady work. Stockton Pm Shift pays $32/hr - $34/hr, plus overtime depending on the shift selection, and an added monthly safety performance bonus of $2/hr for every safe hour worked. We pay overtime on our bonuses as well - bonus paid monthly. We pay double-time on company-observed holidays.Full weekendshifts (Saturday and Sunday included) pay$1more per hour on top of the regular pay. All trucks are late-model Peterbilts with Beall tanks- some of the nicest in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• The Petroleum Product Tanker Driver's responsibilities include safe product handling, product quality assurance, and product transportation consistent with regulatory compliance and company operating goals.


• The Petroleum Product Tanker Driver is responsible for the pick-up and the drop-off of Petroleum Products.


• The driver must keep the truck properly maintained and must follow all safe driving regulations.


• Maintains communication with dispatch as to any delays or issues during the route/shift


• Performs a daily DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspection checklist, informing maintenance personnel of any issues.


• Maintains a daily, legible DOT E log.


• Maintains the vehicle in a neat and tidy manner.


• Comply with all company safety & performance standards

Pay Range : $32.00 to $34.00 /hour (Regular Shifts)

Additional Safety Bonus $2.00 /hour

• Ability to conduct all operations in a safe manner


• Requires getting into and out of the truck frequently


• Must be able to work 12 hours shift


• Must be able to lift and/or move 70 lbs. on a regular basis


• A tanker driver must also be physically able to load and unload the tanker


• Snow Chain Experience or Willing to Learn.
