Henner Tank Lines, Inc. is seeking local Class-A tanker drivers to join our team. As an employee-owned and locally operated carrier, we treat drivers as family, not numbers in an out-of-state operation.

We offer a $2,500 sign-on bonus and multiple Sacramento shifts with hourly pay ranging from $30–$34, plus overtime and a $2/hr monthly safety bonus for safe hours. Home time is daily, with year-round steady work and late-model Peterbilt tanks.

Qualifications

• Three years of verifiable Class-A driving experience.
• Current tanker endorsement.
• Current haz-mat endorsement.
• Doubles/Triples endorsement.
• Valid TWIC card.
• Current Medical Certificate.
• Pass a DOT Drug Test.

Responsibilities

• Safe product handling, quality assurance, and transportation in line with regulations and company goals.
• Pickup and drop-off of Petroleum Products.
• Keep the truck properly maintained and follow all safe driving regulations.
• Maintain communication with dispatch regarding delays or issues.
• Perform daily DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections and inform maintenance of issues.
• Maintain a daily, legible DOT E-Log.
• Keep the vehicle neat and tidy and comply with safety standards.

Day and Night shifts are available at our Sacramento terminal. We offer full-time employment at four-on three-off standard schedules. We have some flexibility in schedule options if you have special circumstances - first come first serve! Henner Tank Lines maintains year-round steady work. Sacramento terminal shifts hourly pays from $30/hr - $34/hr, plus overtime, depending on shift selection, and an added monthly safety performance bonus of $2/hr for every safe hour worked, we pay overtime on our bonuses as well - bonus paid monthly. We pay double-time on company-observed holidays. All trucks are late-model Peterbilts with Beall tanks - some of the nicest in the industry.

• Sacramento Am (Wed to Sat) Starting wage $30P/H Plus $2 p/h safety bonus
• Sacramento Am (Thur -Sun) Starting wage $31 P/H Plus $2 p/h safety bonus (Full weekend Shift)
• Sacramento PM (Wed to Sat) Starting wage $32 P/H Plus $2 p/h safety bonus
• Sacramento Pm (Sat to Tues) Starting wage $33 P/H Plus $2 p/h safety bonus (Full weekend Shift)

Responsibilities

• The Petroleum Product Tanker Driver's responsibilities include safe product handling, product quality assurance, and product transportation consistent with regulatory compliance and company operating goals.
• The Petroleum Product Tanker Driver is responsible for the pick-up and the drop-off of Petroleum Products.
• The driver must keep the truck properly maintained and must follow all safe driving regulations.
• Maintains communication with dispatch as to any delays or issues during the route/shift.
• Performs a daily DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspection checklist, informing maintenance personnel of any issues.
• Maintains a daily, legible DOT E log.
• Maintains the vehicle in a neat and tidy manner.
• Comply with all company safety & performance standards.

Job Type: Full-time.

Salary Range Shift : $30.00 to $34.00 /hour.

Additional Monthly Safety Bonus $2.00 /hour.

Home Time policy: Daily.

Orientation location: Vacaville.

Vehicle: Late Model Peterbilts.

Requirements

• Ability to conduct all operations in a safe manner.
• Requires getting into and out of the truck frequently.
• Must be able to work 12 hours shift.
• Must be able to lift and/or move 70 lbs. on a regular basis.
• A tanker driver must also be physically able to load and unload the tanker.
• Snow Chain Experience or Willing to Learn.
