Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is seeking drivers to haul boxed freight for a major retail customer across GA, FL, AL, and Southern LA. You will operate as a Class A CDL driver with a focus on consistent weekly miles and reliable delivery schedules.

Expect a high-paying role with a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits. Home time includes a weekly reset, with 3–4 loads per week and potential night/weekend driving to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months Class A experience in the last 3 years.
• Safety: No more than 3 incidents/accidents in 3 years (Max 1 preventable).
• Clean drug history (No SAP); No major violations in the past 12 months.
• No safety-related terminations from previous carrier.

Responsibilities

• Haul boxed freight for a major retail customer.
• Maintain steady weekly mileage of around 1,600 miles.
• Complete 3–4 loads per week with 1–6 stops per day.

Pay & Bonuses:

• Weekly Income: Average gross of $1,600 – $1,800.
• Sign-On Bonus: $2,000 to get you started.
• Mileage Rate: $0.55 to $0.58 CPM (depending on tenure).
• Trailer Handling: $240 per load for unloading via conveyor system.
• Additional: $50 per backhaul.

The Run & Schedule:

• Miles: Steady volume around 1,600 miles per week.
• Home Time: Reset weekly (please note: resets are during the week, not weekends).
• Workload: 3–4 loads per week with 1 to 6 stops per day.
• Flexibility: Routes may involve night and weekend driving to meet customer needs.
