Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Shuttle Truck Driver in North Carolina. You will operate a tractor-trailer between distribution centers and shuttle yards, swapping loaded and empty trailers and performing safety checks.

Training pays $24.23/hour; after training, drivers earn $260 daily minimum/component pay. Requires a CDL A with endorsements and DOT qualification, must be 21+, and have at least six months of commercial trucking experience or three months in foodservice delivery.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CDL A license with endorsements and DOT qualified.
• Double Endorsement License required.

Responsibilities

• Check route and account numbers for all deliveries.
• Check customer invoices for loaded products.
• Move tractors to loading docks and attach trailers securely.
• Log time at stop sites using the time keeping system.
• Check for returns and paperwork on trailers shuttling back to the distribution center.
• Perform safety checks on the truck and trailer as required.
• Unhook and secure trailers and parking equipment.
