Job summary

US FOODS is seeking a Shuttle Truck Driver to operate tractor-trailers between distribution centers and shuttle yards. You will swap loaded trailers with empty ones and work to safeguard deliveries while upholding our culture and safety standards.

You must hold a CDL A with endorsements and be DOT qualified, 21+, and have 6 months of trucking or 3 months of foodservice delivery experience. Schedule is Sunday-Thursday, 5pm start, with base pay of $25.55 per hour plus mileage, no overnights.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL A with required endorsements and be DOT qualified.
• At least 21 years old and able to meet driving qualifications.
• Six months commercial trucking or three months foodservice delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Check route and account numbers for all deliveries.
• Verify customer invoices for loaded product.
• Move tractors to loading docks and attach trailers.
• Hook trailers and ensure all connections are correct.
• Log time in the electronic timekeeping system at stops.
• Check paperwork and returns on trailers.
• Perform safety checks on truck and trailer.
• Fuel as required and secure tractor/trailer after shifts.
