Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. seeks a full-time Shuttle Driver to safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight on time and damage-free. Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, documenting shipments, and maintaining compliance with DOT regulations.

Experience with unloading/loading and customer relations is valued. Requirements include a Class A CDL, high school diploma or equivalent, and a clean DOT record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 21 years or older.
• Class A Interstate Commercial Drivers' License (CDL).
• One year driving experience required.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Satisfactory background check.
• Read, write, speak and understand English well.
• Work Flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Record shipments with bills of lading, delivery receipts and tally sheets.
• Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relations between our company and customers.
• Hook and unhook trailers from tractors and operate landing gear.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
