AAA Cooper Transportation is seeking a Shuttle Driver to safely operate commercial motor vehicles and deliver on-time, damage-free freight. Candidates must have a Class A CDL, at least one year of driving experience, and the ability to read, write, and understand English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Class A Interstate Commercial Drivers' License and one year driving experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Satisfactory background check and ACT road test.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Record quantity and type of shipments using bills of lading, delivery receipts and tally sheets.
• Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relations with customers.
• Hook and unhook trailers from tractors, including cranking lever to raise and lower landing gear.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
