Job summary

McLane is seeking a Shuttle Driver to deliver full trailers to the domicile and bring empties back to the Distribution Center. You will inspect vehicles, secure cargo, maintain logs, and handle occasional line haul/backhaul while prioritizing safety and efficiency.

The role requires a CDL-A, 21+ years old, and demonstrated driving experience in a fast-paced logistics environment. This position offers day-one benefits and comprehensive company programs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL-A and be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor trailer driving experience.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English to perform tasks and safety communications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the rig for defects pre- and post-trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Ensure product is secured inside the trailer for undamaged transport.
• Maintain driver logs according to DOT regulations (Manual or PeopleNet).
• May perform line haul and/or backhaul as needed.
• Work safely to prevent injuries and damage to products.
