Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialist to transport materials to our SC locations safely and on schedule. This full-time driving role offers salary-based pay with bonuses and no touch freight; forklifts load/unload at sites, and customer service at loading/delivery points is expected.

You must hold a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record and have flatbed experience; DOT regulations knowledge and excellent communication are essential for reliable service and safety

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Flatbed experience.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.
• Successfully pass required DOT pre-employment screening.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to Carter Lumber locations in a safe and timely manner across multiple sites in South Carolina.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service at loading and delivery sites.
• Secure loads and occasionally tarps the product; no touch freight.
• Operate with forklift for loading/unloading as needed.
