Job summary

Carter Lumber Company is seeking a Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialist to transport materials to various locations within South Carolina, driving a well maintained truck and providing excellent customer service. This full‑time role offers a salary-based pay structure with bonus opportunities and the possibility to grow within the company.

You will secure loads, occasionally tarp products, and use a forklift for loading/unloading. No touch freight means you won’t handle freight indoors.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Proven customer service skills and professional conduct at loading/delivery sites.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to designated locations in a safe and timely manner.
• Provide friendly and professional service at loading and delivery sites.
• Secure loads and occasionally tarp products; no touch freight.
• Operate forklift for loading and unloading as needed.
