Job summary

Carter Lumber Company is seeking a Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialist to transport materials to multiple locations in a safe and timely manner. This full-time role includes loading and unloading with a forklift, customer service at sites, and occasional tarping of loads. Eligible candidates will have a valid Class A CDL, clean driving record, and flatbed experience.

Salary is base pay with opportunity for bonuses. There is no touch freight, and the company emphasizes growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• Flatbed experience preferred.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment screening.
• Good communication skills required.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply policies and laws.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to multiple locations safely and on time.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at loading and delivery sites.
• Secure loads and tarp when required.
• Operate forklift to load/unload materials as needed.
• No-touch freight; rely on existing loading procedures.
