Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialist. This full-time role involves transporting materials to locations across the state with a stable schedule and the possibility of bonuses. You will provide friendly service at loading and delivery sites, secure loads, and occasionally tarp materials. No touch freight is involved, and loads are handled with a forklift.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• Flatbed experience or similar handling.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and compliance.
• Successful completion of required DOT pre-employment screening.
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, and procedures.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to multiple locations in a safe and timely manner.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at loading and delivery sites.
• Secure loads and tarp as needed; maintain no-touch freight where applicable.
• Load and unload using a forklift when required; operate safely and efficiently.
