McLane Company in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a CDL-A Shuttle Driver to deliver full trailers to the domicile and return empties to the DC. You will inspect rigs, secure loads, log DOT compliance, and support safe, on-time deliveries.

Starting pay averages $70,000 per year with benefits from day one, including medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life insurance, and 401(k) with profit sharing. This role requires 21+ and a valid CDL-A with driving experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English sufficiently to perform tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the rig for defects pre- and post-trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Ensure that product is secured inside the trailer for undamaged transport.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations.
• May occasionally perform line haul and/or backhaul.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
• Other duties as assigned.
