Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Shuttle Driver to deliver full trailers to the domicile and return empty trailers to the Distribution Center. The role requires a valid CDL-A, at least 21 years old, and 1 year or 50,000 miles of tractor trailer experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• 1 year or 50,000 miles of tractor trailer driving experience.
• Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for safety and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the rig for defects pre- and post-trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Ensure product is secured inside the trailer for undamaged transport.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or PeopleNet) according to DOT regulations.
• May perform line haul and/or backhaul.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
• Other duties as assigned.
