Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Delivery Driver, Dedicated Backhaul to support its foodservice distribution network. You will operate tractor-trailer (day cab/sleeper) or straight trucks on local and interstate routes, delivering loads on schedule and maintaining safety and DOT compliance.

The role emphasizes customer contact, professional interaction with vendors and customers, and accurate paperwork. Required: valid CDL-A, 6+ months driving, 21+ years old, clean MVR, ability to lift 10–90

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A with at least 6 months commercial driving experience.
• Must be 21+ years old and have a clean MVR for last 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure.
• Able to lift and handle product cases 10–90 lbs.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Meet state licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive to assigned supplier/vendor and PFG locations according to route and schedule.
• Delivers loads back to PFG warehouses and ensures timely pickup.
• Perform load and paperwork inspections (invoices, counts, quality checks).
• Complete required paperwork for backhaul operations.
• Coordinate with supervisor about route, load, schedule; secure end-of-shift paperwork.
