Job summary

Van Eerden Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver for night shifts departing from Fort Wayne, IN. You will shuttle loaded double trailers to Albion/Jackson drop yards and back, while performing daily DOT inspections and complying with FMCSA hours-of-service rules.

The role requires a CDL-A with a doubles endorsement, a clean driving record, and DOT compliance. Training is provided; prior experience is preferred, and background checks are conducted.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old
• 1 year of experience preferred or candidate with newly obtained CDL-A
• Meet all DOT requirements for driving, including possession of a valid CDL-A license
• Doubles Endorsement is required
• Background check must be clear of felonies

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, accurate, timely deliveries of double trailers between Fort Wayne Distribution Center and Albion/Jackson drop yard
• Perform daily DOT inspection of equipment
• Comply with FMCSA rules and hours of service and compliance

Van Eerden Foodservice has a need for a Shuttle Driver This role shuttles loaded double trailers from our Fort Wayne Indiana Distribution center to our Albion/ Jackson Michigan drop yard, then back to Fort Wayne.

Schedule:

Night Shift that Departs from Fort Wayne Indiana. Sunday- Thursday- Start time 6:30pm, typical end time 5:00am

Pay:

Start earning immediately with paid training! Once training is complete, you'll move into our component pay structure, which rewards your productivity with additional earnings potential. Most first-year drivers earn between $1,450 and $1,650 per week working a standard 5-day schedule.

Requirements:
