Job summary

Salt City Trucking in the United States is seeking a CDL-A Semi-Local Retail Driver to haul no-touch retail freight on a dedicated account with frequent home time. Drivers typically have about two nights on the road each week and benefit from a 48-hour reset and on-site management.

Expect earnings around $85,000–$95,000 per year with preplanned loads and training with an experienced mentor before solo dispatch. Opportunities to support other accounts exist during slower periods.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with at least 3 months verifiable experience.
• DOT Medical Card required and kept up to date.
• Able to assemble/disassemble doubles equipment.
• Flexible schedules including weekends and night hours.

Responsibilities

• Haul no-touch retail freight on a semi-local route.
• Preplan loads up to one week in advance.
• Operate doubles equipment after training.
• Maintain safe operation and compliance with DOT rules.
• Participate in training with driver mentor before solo dispatch.
• Support other accounts or intermodal operations during slow periods.
