Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Semi-Local Truck Driver for good pay and frequent home time. You will haul no-touch retail freight on a dedicated semi-local account, with typically two nights on the road each week and a 48-hour reset.

Average weekly pay ranges from $1,700 to $1,850, and annual boot reimbursement of up to $50 is provided. Shifts often begin Sunday evening and end Friday morning, with typical start times 5:00 PM–12:00 AM and loads ready 11:00 AM–3:00 PM the day before

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 3 months verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers.
• Ability to assemble/disassemble doubles equipment.
• Flexible schedules, including weekends and nighttime hours.
• Willingness to assist other accounts or intermodal operations.

Responsibilities

• Haul no-touch retail freight on a dedicated semi-local account.
• Load and unload responsibilities are minimized due to no-touch freight.
• Loads are preplanned, typically up to a week in advance.
• Assemble and disassemble doubles equipment at pickup and delivery locations.
• Operate trucks designed for doubles operations.
• Complete at least 3 days of training with a mentor before solo dispatch.
• Assist other accounts or intermodal operations when needed.
