Job summary

Kodiak Robotics, Inc. is seeking a Safety Driver for its autonomous trucks in Lancaster, TX. You will operate commercial freight routes, ensuring safety alongside public traffic while supporting technology deployment.

Qualifications

• A valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record is mandatory.
• You must have a minimum of 3 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
• You should be able to pass a background check and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate autonomous-enabled commercial trucks on freight routes.
• Conduct detailed pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
• Communicate status updates to Operations and Command Center teams.

Skills

Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record

3+ years of recent Class A driving experience

Ability to pass a background check and DOT physical

Light computer skills

Experience in high-awareness roles

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
