Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions, Inc. is seeking Class A drivers who prioritize customer service and safety.

The role is a Route Delivery Driver operating company vehicles to transfer freight to and from locations by a specified time, including unloading and paperwork compliance. Requirements include CDL A, at least one year of commercial driving, Hazmat/Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain, and a pre-employment skills assessment.

Qualifications

• Must have a Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain them (renewals reimbursable).
• No DUI/DWI in the past 3 years.
• No more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years.
• Must complete a pre-employment skills assessment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Delivers and/or picks up freight to/from customer locations and/or a terminal as instructed by dispatch or the immediate supervisor.
• Ensures all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and appropriate paperwork accompanies the shipment to the delivery point.
• Loads and/or unloads a wide variety of freight onto and off a company motor vehicle, at customer locations and at the terminal, with or without mechanical assistance depending on the size of freight.
