Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking a Class A delivery driver in New Castle, DE, with a focus on customer service and safety. The role involves operating company vehicles to transfer freight to specified locations by set times, with duties including loading/unloading and paperwork for DOT compliance.

The position is non-exempt with a Monday–Friday schedule, home daily on assigned routes, and offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• 1 year of commercial driving experience minimum.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain (renewals reimbursable).
• Pre-employment skills assessment required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Delivers and/or picks up freight to/from customer locations and/or a terminal as instructed by dispatch or supervisor.
• Ensures all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and accompanies shipments to the delivery point.
• Loads and/or unloads freight manually or with mechanical assistance; completes all required paperwork.
