Ben E. Keith is seeking a dedicated CDL driver to perform route deliveries in Smiths Station, AL. You will inspect trucks, assemble orders, and ensure timely, accurate deliveries while upholding DOT regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities include managing route tasks, communicating with a transportation supervisor, and maintaining records and invoices. A valid Class A CDL and at least 1 year of route driving experience are required.

Competenze

• Must know DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• At least 1 year of route driving experience
• DOT certification required
• Valid State Class A CDL license required in state of residence
• Ability to understand and enforce regulatory guidelines
• Knowledge of customer service principles and quality standards
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting of 50 lbs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with multiple levels of organization
• Self-motivated; customer-focused

Mansioni

• Perform product deliveries along assigned routes and related duties
• Inspect vehicle equipment and supplies and request service as needed
• Assemble orders for timely delivery and maintain delivery windows
• Place delivered products in assigned storage locations per customer requests
• Maintain accuracy of delivered products and prevent damage
• Turn in receipts and monies from deliveries
• Maintain vehicle logs, cargo and billing statements per BEK policies
• Review customer invoices to determine items to be moved and delivered
• Report mechanical problems or delays to base location as needed
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies
