The role requires reading invoices, assembling orders, maintaining delivery windows, and ensuring accurate, damage-free deliveries while adhering to safety standards and vehicle maintenance protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL driver’s license required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and measurement conversions.
• Prioritize multiple projects and respond promptly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products along routes with multiple stops and varying difficulty.
• Read invoices to determine items to move and deliver.
• Assemble customer orders for delivery to businesses.
• Maintain delivery time windows for each stop.
• Ensure accuracy and prevent damage to delivered products.
• Obey traffic laws and transportation procedures.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and report mechanical problems.
