Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a CDL A driver for route deliveries across assigned stops. You will inspect vehicles, assemble orders, and ensure on-time delivery while following DOT regulations and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must comply with DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Minimum of 1 year route driving experience required.
• Valid CDL Class A license in state of residence.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read maps, manage time, and prioritize tasks.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform product deliveries along assigned routes; ensure on-time delivery.
• Inspect vehicle equipment and request repairs as needed.
• Assemble orders and maintain accurate delivery windows.
• Place products at route stops per customer requests.
• Maintain damage-free delivery and keep records.
• Communicate problems to Transportation Supervisor.
• Read maps and follow directions.
• Manage multiple tasks with time and resource planning.
• Follow BEK policies and DOT regulations.
• Remain DOT compliant with changing guidelines.
• Ensure professional appearance and training.
• Complete administrative tasks and review invoices.
• Report delays or accidents to base location.
• Turn in receipts and maintain logs.
