Job summary

SA Recycling is hiring a Truck Driver to move scrap metal by roll off/semi-truck and end dump to customer yards. Safety is our priority and you will follow DOT regulations while loading, unloading, and staging containers.

You will inspect metals, coordinate with the office, and maintain a clean yard environment. Qualified candidates will have at least 3 years of CDL driving with end dump experience, pass a DOT physical and background check, and may be bilingual (English/Spanish).

Qualifications

• Must have 3 years of CDL driving experience with consistent job history and end dump experience.
• Must pass a DOT medical exam and drug test.
• Background check with clean MVR and approval to Clearing House.
• Bi-lingual English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks hauling scrap metal, roll off and end dump as required.
• Inspect metal grade for inventory tracking.
• Perform DOT daily operation and safety inspection.
• Communicate with office and customers to determine commodities to load.
• Operate independently and safely in yard with others.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and conduct regular housekeeping.
• Attend work on time and organize materials for space efficiency.
