Job summary

CMC is seeking a delivery driver to support our regional distribution network. You will complete delivery paperwork, perform safety inspections, and ensure on-time deliveries to customers and job sites within the region.

The role requires a Valid Class A CDL, at least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience (3 years flatbed OTR preferred), and ability to lift up to 65 lbs. You will work outdoors in all weather conditions and adhere to DOT regulations and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL and tractor-trailer experience.
• At least 1 year verified tractor-trailer experience (3 years flatbed OTR preferred).
• Ability to pass DOT physicals and drug testing.
• Able to lift up to 65 lbs. and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety requirements.
• Strong communication and English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete delivery paperwork and communicate load or timing issues with dispatch, sales, and customers.
• Conduct daily pre-trip, intra-trip, and post-trip inspections of truck and cargo.
• Deliver products to customers, contractors, and jobsites within the region.
• Follow all safety rules and always wear required PPE.
• Load, secure, and deliver cargo safely and on time.
• Maintain vehicle service and repair logs in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Operate vehicles using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and safety dashcams (training provided).
