Job summary

American Driver LLC is seeking drivers for regional intermodal runs out of our Chicago terminal. You’ll choose 2 consecutive days off (not Sat/Sun) and a fixed start time, with most weeks including a weekend bonus and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Average weekly pay is about $1,654 (roughly $86,000 per year) with mileage pay plus add-ons like detention and layovers. Trucks are relatively new, with 75% drop-and-hook operations and paid training available.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL and Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire.
• 3–12 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years with one carrier.
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years and no major preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.
• At least 21 years old with a valid CDL A.

Responsibilities

• Operate regional intermodal trucking from our Chicago terminal to IL, IN, WI, IA, MI, OH and KY.
• Maintain 1,800–2,800 miles per week with 2 consecutive days off and a consistent start time.
• Mostly no touch freight with drop-and-hook as applicable.
• Deliver loads while adhering to safety and on-time performance targets.
