Job summary

American Driver LLC is looking for regional intermodal drivers operating within MO, KS, OK, AR, IA, NE and IL. Start times are flexible; you’ll spend nights in a sleeper with a 1500 watt inverter and be home on weekends.

Weekly pay averages about $1,500 (roughly $78,000 yearly) with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Starting rate is $0.56 per mile, rising over time, plus various bonuses for drops, hazmat, and stops. Training pay is $225 per day in Kansas City.

Qualifications

• 21 or older with a valid Class A CDL.
• Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 3 months in the last 6 with one carrier, 6 months in the last 12, or 12 months in the last 5 years.
• Hazmat within 90 days (we reimburse the cost)
• Somewhere safe to park the tractor on days off
• No careless or reckless driving and no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years
• No major preventable accidents in 3 years and no DUI/DWI in 5 years
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing, with no failed drug or alcohol test in the last 5 years

Responsibilities

• Move containers to and from customers within 300 miles across Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Iowa, Nebraska and Illinois.
• Deliver 75% drop and hook, and 25% loaded or unloaded by the customer.”
• Riders and pets are not allowed. Everything else about this week is built around getting you home.
