Keystone is seeking a skilled and reliable CDL A regional dry van driver in Spanaway, WA. This role involves longer-distance trips within a defined region, with no-touch freight and occasional drop-and-hook deliveries to retailers.

The compensation includes weekly pay of $1,600–$1,700, plus bonuses for safety and performance, with direct deposit weekly. Benefits cover health, retirement plans, holidays, and PTO. Home time is several days weekly, with 3 nights on the road possible.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 1 year of Class A driving experience or equivalent military experience.
• Clean driving record (MVR, PSP, and previous employment).
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate regional dry van routes within the Northwest (WA, OR, ID, MT).
• Maintain logs and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
• Perform drop & hook deliveries as needed.
• Ensure on-time delivery while minimizing damage and delays.

This position involves longer-distance driving that may require multiple days on the road, typically within a specific region. The freight is NO TOUCH, and some store deliveries involve drop and hook operations.

Compensation:

• Weekly Avg: $1,600 to $1,700
  • 63 CPM
  • OT paid after 40 hours

Home Time, Route & Schedule

• Home Time: Home multiple days weekly
  • Typically, out up to 3 nights at a time
• Start/end days may vary week to week
• Regional routes with a rolling schedule
• Servicing the Northwest: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana

Requirements

• Must be at least 23 years of age
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Minimum 1 year of Class A driving experience or equivalent military experience
• Clean driving record (MVR, PSP, and previous employment)
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical requirements
• Current DOT physical certification
• Comprehensive knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques
• Ability to manage time effectively and plan routes efficiently
• Must live within 50 miles of Spanaway, WA

Physical Demands:

• Extended periods of sitting while operating vehicles for multiple days
• Manual dexterity for vehicle operation and equipment management
• Occasional heavy lifting (50+ pounds) for cargo handling
• High levels of concentration and situational awareness over long drives
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Physical capability for climbing in and out of truck cabs and trailers
• Compliance with all health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment
