American Driver LLC is seeking drivers for a dedicated reefer fleet on the West Coast. Starting pay is $0.60 per mile, rising to $0.61 at month 7 and $0.62 at month 13, then 1¢ per year to $0.70. Expect 2,800–3,000 miles weekly, with home time every two weeks.
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO. Training for new CDL-A graduates is paid and lasts 3–5 weeks with a mentor, after which you join the Lathrop fleet.
Start at $0.60 a mile on a dedicated reefer fleet that runs the West Coast. Drivers here average $1,500 a week, and a full-mileage week reaches $1,800.
That's the offer. Here is how it works.
Starting rate is $0.60 per mile. It goes to $0.61 at month 7 and $0.62 at month 13. After that it goes up one cent every year until it reaches $0.70. Drivers run 2,800 to 3,000 miles a week. You also get $10 per extra stop and $25 for loads under 50 miles. Paid weekly by direct deposit.
Dedicated food-product freight, in reefer and dry van. About 40% of loads are drop and hook. The rest are live loads, live unloads and preloads. The fleet runs out of Lathrop and covers five western states: California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Utah.
Home every two weeks. Most holidays you can be home, and if you want to run through a holiday, there's freight for that too.
You'll see mountain passes and winter weather on the Oregon and Utah runs. Some customers take their time on live unloads. Bring patience and a good book. The upside is steady miles every week on the same lanes, so you learn the roads fast.
Recent graduates of a 120-hour or longer CDL-A school are welcome. Your training is paid and takes 3 to 5 weeks with a mentor (200 to 250 hours). After that you join this fleet out of Lathrop.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and welcome applicants of every race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability and veteran status.
