Job summary

Forward Air is seeking Owner Operators who want to treat their business like a partner. They offer a pay structure designed for Owner Operators, a large network of 100+ locations, and strong support to help you run a profitable operation.

Solo Owner Operators can earn up to $250,000 gross per year with base pay per loaded mile and per empty mile, plus FSC, averaging $4,100–$5,200 gross per week. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is provided within the first year.

Qualifications

• Must have Valid Class A CDL.
• 12+ months verifiable driving experience.
• Must be 23 years of age.
• Equipment must be newer than 10 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate as an Owner Operator within Forward Air’s closed terminal network.
• Earn competitive pay with base per-mile rates and FSC, plus bonuses.
• Maintain safety and compliance while delivering freight across nationwide routes.
• Sign-on bonus available and dedicated Driver Support.
