Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A driver to deliver and unload food products. After completing the training period, compensation starts at $88,000+ annually, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional Saturday shifts. Dispatch hours include overnight shifts from 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. for layover routes.

The role requires safe driving, DOT compliance, and strong customer service as the face of the company, delivering to various customers while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors and coworkers.
• Drive tractor trailer or straight truck on local and interstate routes.
• Conduct pre/post trip safety inspections per DOT regulations.
• Ensure timely delivery and proper loading/unloading of products.
• Maintain accurate shipping documents and customer invoices.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety policies.
