Job summary

TricorBraun is seeking a CDL driver for long-haul over-the-road routes. You will handle tickets, verify correct delivery locations, and inspect equipment to ensure safety. Daily tasks include ensuring DOT procedures, and assisting with loading and unloading as needed.

You will work with newer equipment, have home weekends, and benefit from competitive wages plus comprehensive benefits. Training is available for forklift operation and GPS use.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A is required.
• Clean 2-year MVR is required.
• Able to lift 50 lbs or more.
• DOT drug screen and background check are required.
• GPS and basic computer skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 53’ tractor-trailer for long-haul routes.
• Verify orders and tickets for correct destinations.
• Inspect equipment and maintain safety standards.
• Assist with load/unload and off-loading as needed.
• Maintain quality control and on-time delivery.

About the job

If you’re a CDL Driver whose passion is over the road hauling, we have a great opportunity for you. As a driver, you’ll handle quality control, checking tickets, verifying orders are going to the right location and inspecting equipment to make sure it’s safe. Daily, the role includes ensuring EDL procedure compliance, using small tools as well as forklift equipment to help off- and on-load shipments, and assist in sorting orders during delivery.

Your background and experience

• A valid Class A CDL license and a clean 2-year MVR
• 1 to 2 years’ experience driving a 53’ tractor trailer
• Able to lift 50 lbs. or more to load and unload trucks
• Can operate a forklift safely, but we will train if you don’t have experience
• Basic computer, reading, mechanical and GPS skills
• Able to pass the Federal DOT Drug Test, a background check, and prior Employment and Safety Verification per DOT Requirements
