Job summary

Universal Environmental Services is hiring CDL A or B Local Tanker Drivers in Baltimore, MD. You will load, transport, and unload waste oil and other liquids as part of a leading used oil collection and processing company in the southeastern United States.

Earn a starting annual pay range of $60,000 - $90,000 with guaranteed daily pay, a weekly direct deposit schedule, and performance bonuses. Full benefits after 30 days include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, plus a 401K

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have CDL A or B license.
• Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience with a clean driving record.
• Must have a tanker endorsement or be willing to obtain prior to starting.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Must be able to operate a manual transmission.
• Must meet DOT testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Hiring Radius:Drivers must live within 50 miles of Baltimore, MD or be willing to relocate.

Universal Environmental Services is hiring CDL A or B Local Tanker Drivers in Baltimore, MD. Waste oil recovery drivers will be loading, transporting, and unloading used oil and other liquids. Universal Environmental Services is the leading used oil collector and processing company in the southeastern United States. Covering 24 states and with a growing fleet of more than 300 service and transport trucks, UES collects more than 75 million gallons of used motor oil as well as used industrial oil annually.

Compensation

• Starting annual pay range: $60,000 - $90,000
  • Guaranteed daily pay rate
  • Average hours weekly: 40-60
• Referral bonus: $1,000

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home time: Home daily, home weekends!
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Shift: Day shift, Start times normally before 7am
• Route: 250 mile radius of Baltimore, MD
• Level of Touch: Loads, transports, and unloads used oil and other liquid waste streams

Equipment

• Class B tanker trucks
• Automatic & manual transmission
  • Must be able to operate a manual transmission
• Outward facing cameras
• ELD equipped using Samsara system

• Must be familiar with all company policies and procedures regarding safety and operations
• Must have a working knowledge of all applicable rules, regulations, and laws pertaining to the collection/transportation of used oil

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have CDL A or B license
• Must have a minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience with a clean driving record
• Must have a tanker endorsement or be willing to obtain prior to starting
• Hazmat endorsement preferred
• Must be able to operate a manual transmission
• Physical activity includes bending, reaching, stretching, climbing in/out of tractors, and on top of tanks, pulling hoses weighing up to 75 lbs and moving drums weighing up to 400 lbs with proper equipment
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
