Job summary

Van Eerden Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver for the Fort Wayne, IN area. The role involves transporting double trailers between the Fort Wayne Distribution Center and the Albion/Jackson drop yard, with a night schedule Sundays through Thursday, starting at 6:30 PM and ending around 5:00 AM.

The position requires a CDL-A license with a doubles endorsement, a clean driving record, and compliance with DOT regulations. Training is provided, with potential for incentives based on performance.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age
• 1 year driving experience preferred; new CDL-A considered
• Must meet DOT requirements for driving including valid CDL-A
• Doubles endorsement required
• Clean driving record
• Must pass a DOT physical, drug screen and Clearinghouse
• Background check free from felonies

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, accurate, timely deliveries of double trailers to Fort Wayne Distribution Center and Albion/Jackson drop yard.
• Perform daily DOT inspections of equipment.
• Comply with FMCSA hours of service and regulations.
• Follow company safety practices.
• This list may be expanded to include other duties as needed by management.
