Job summary

SPUR Freight, Inc. is seeking a Driver III to operate commercial trucks under Class A CDL, delivering parcels and maintaining safe operations. You will log hours, perform pre/post-trip checks, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations across short or long-haul routes.

The role requires a valid CDL Class A, TSA certification, and a clean MVR. Expect a schedule Mon-Fri 5PM-3AM with benefits, PTO, a bonus, and 401(k) options. Training and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 3+ years driving experience required.
• CDL Class A license required.
• TSA certification and STA number required.
• DOT medical exam and road test passing required.
• Background/MVR checks will be performed.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck to and from destinations and follow all laws and DOT regulations.
• Ensure safety and compliance and real-time reporting of incidents.
• Perform basic fleet maintenance, fueling, and pre/post-trip inspections.
• Prepare load receipts and bills of lading; document signatures.
• Manage hours of service using electronic logs; observe rest periods.
• Ensure DOT and other regulations compliance; communicate with supervisor about status.
• Ensure timely client deliveries and anticipate delivery challenges.
• Inspect truck equipment and secure cargo with proper equipment.
