Job summary

Spee-Dee Delivery Service is seeking a CDL Class A Driver (Transport) to safely operate tractor-trailer or straight trucks, moving parcels between terminals. This full-time role is based in Minnesota, with evenings and a significant amount of overtime likely each week.

The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and pay ranging from $23.00 to $27.00 per hour, plus a $5.00 shift premium for start times between 5:00 PM and 4:59 AM. A DOT inspection routine and reliable driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid CDL Class A license with a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-trip inspections and DOT requirements.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission and handle a physically demanding route.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer or straight truck to transport parcels between terminals.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and submit mileage and maintenance forms.
• Maintain required certifications per DOT and company policies.
• Assist other drivers with loading, delivery, or pickup as needed.
