Job summary

Schneider National is seeking professional intermodal drivers to haul freight within a 200-mile radius of Edwardsville, IL. This role features 100% no-touch freight with 40% drop-and-hook, night driving, and end-to-end responsibility for container movement.

You will join a proven network with strong support and modern equipment. Eligible drivers earn mileage and load pay plus on-duty hourly pay, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 months in the first year and a generous benefits package

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Drivers must drive at night on this account.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsements are strongly preferred.
• Live within 50 miles of Edwardsville, IL; minimum 3 months of Class A experience.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• Longevity bonus: Earn 3% of annual gross pay each year.
• $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Drivers on this account are required to drive at night.
• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
• Live within 50 miles of Edwardsville, IL.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.
