Job summary

Schneider Intermodal is seeking an experienced driver to haul freight containers on company-owned chassis across the Southeast. Expect 99% no-touch freight with 90% drop-and-hook, and routes within AL, FL, GA, NC, SC and TN.

This full-time position offers mileage and load pay, plus on-duty hourly pay, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 months, paid orientation, and strong benefits including a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• HazMat endorsement must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Tanker endorsement strongly preferred.
• Live within 25 miles of Tifton, GA.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Overview

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• $10,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
• Annual bonus: Earn up to 3% of annual gross pay each year.

Qualifications

• Tanker endorsement is strongly preferred.
• HazMat endorsement required within 90 days of hire — Schneider’s self-paced online certification training will help you secure it.
• Live within 25 miles of Tifton, GA.
