Job summary

A leading transportation company is hiring an Intermodal Truck Driver in Florida. Responsibilities include hauling freight containers, primarily drop-and-hook with no-touch freight. The ideal candidate must possess a valid Class A CDL and have at least 3 months of driving experience. Benefits include insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. Job description

Responsibilities

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• 95% no-touch freight that is 85% drop-and-hook.
• Drive in and out of railyards within AL, FL, GA, NC, SC, TN and VA.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
• Annual bonus: Earn up to 3% of annual gross pay each year.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Tanker endorsement is strongly preferred.
• HazMat endorsement required within 90 days of hire — Schneider’s self-paced online certification training will help you secure it.
• Live within 100 miles of Winter Haven, FL.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.
