Job summary

Schneider National is seeking drivers for dedicated hauling of home improvement supplies. Expect regional routes with primarily no-touch freight and frequent drop-and-hook. You’ll handle 5–10 loads weekly across multiple states, maintaining safe, timely deliveries.

Paid weekly with mileage and on-duty hourly pay, plus sign-on bonuses and benefits. The program includes orientation, PTO after 6 months, and a comprehensive driver benefit package.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• HazMat endorsement required within 90 days of hire.
• Live within 50 miles of Grand Island, NE.

• 100% no-touch freight and 90% drop-and-hook.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• Earn at least $1,000 in weekly guarantee pay during your first90 daysat Schneider.
• Weekly performance pay.
• $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
• $2,500 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for inexperienced drivers.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
• Annual bonus: Earn up to 2% of annual gross pay each year.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• HazMat endorsement required within 90 days of hire — Schneider’s self-paced online certification training will help you secure it.
• Live within 50 miles of Grand Island, NE.
