Job summary

Schneider National is seeking an experienced driver for dedicated hauls of home improvement supplies in dry van trailers. All work is 100% no-touch with 90% drop-and-hook, typically 5–10 loads per week across AR, CO, IA, IL, IN, KS, MO, ND, NE & SD.

Earn competitive pay with mileage plus hourly on-duty pay, a weekly $1,000+ guarantee for the first 90 days, and sign-on bonuses for experienced and inexperienced drivers. Comprehensive benefits and retirement plans are included.

Overview

• Haul home improvement supplies in dry van trailers.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• Earn at least $1,000 in weekly guarantee pay during your first90 daysat Schneider.
• Weekly performance pay.
• $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
• $2,500 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for inexperienced drivers.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
• Annual bonus: Earn up to 2% of annual gross pay each year.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• HazMat endorsement required within 90 days of hire — Schneider’s self-paced online certification training will help you secure it.
• Live within 50 miles of Grand Island, NE.
