Job summary

American Driver LLC offers new drivers a first job that pays while they learn. Trainees earn $850 per week for 3–5 weeks with a mentor, then transition to solo driving on western lanes where loads stay within about three days from home.

Solo pay ranges from $1,100 to $1,200 per week, with a $1,000 weekly guarantee for the first 3 months. Orientation is brief, travel to orientation is reimbursed, and a rider program is available after training.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older with a valid Class A CDL.
• Completed CDL-A truck driving school of at least 120 hours.
• Pass a DOT physical plus hair and urine drug tests.
• No DUI or DWI in the last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Train with a mentor for 3–5 weeks at paid training rate.
• Haul real freight on western lanes after training.
• Drive loads typically within three days of home.
• Earn weekly pay with a $1,000 weekly guarantee for the first 3 months as solo driver.
