Job summary

Safeload Trucking is seeking CDL-A Northeast Regional Drivers with weekly home time and consistent freight throughout the Northeast. Base pay is $0.65 per mile plus a $0.10 per mile Northeast premium when applicable, with average weekly pay around $1,450.

Drivers run an average of 1,700 miles per week, with a minimum mileage guarantee offered. Freight is Freight of All Kinds (FAK) with rider and pet policies. Home time and operating area cover VA, NC, MD, NJ, PA, NY, CT, MA, NH, VT, and ME.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Ability to meet DOT medical and safety requirements.
• Willingness to handle regional routes and changing pickups/deliveries.

Responsibilities

CDL-A Mid-Atlantic Regional Driver

Job Type: Driver

We are hiring CDL-A Northeast Regional Drivers for weekly home time and consistent freight throughout the Northeast. Drivers earn a $0.65 CPM base rate plus a $0.10 CPM Northeast premium, if they go there.

Drivers average approximately 1,700 miles per week, with average weekly pay of approximately $1,450. A minimum mileage guarantee of 1,500 miles is available.

This position hauls Freight of All Kinds (FAK) and includes a rider program and pet policy.

Pay and earning potential

$0.65 CPM base pay.

Additional $0.10 CPM Northeast premium.

Approximately $1,450 average weekly pay.

Monthly mileage bonus

9,000 miles: additional $0.03 per mile.

10,000 miles: additional $0.06 per mile.

11,000 miles: additional $0.09 per mile.

Toll pay, stop pay, wait-time pay, layover pay, HazMat pay, NYC pay, and Canada pay.

Home time and operating area

Average length of haul is approximately 370 miles.

Freight is picked up and delivered throughout the Northeast.

Operating area: VA, NC, MD, NJ, PA, NY, CT, MA, NH, VT, and ME.

Freight and job duties

Transport Freight of All Kinds, or FAK.

Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

Follow all DOT regulations, company procedures, and Hours of Service requirements.

Driver policies

Pet policy available.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.

Ability to meet all applicable DOT, medical, safety, and company qualification requirements.

Willingness to handle regional routes and changing pickup and delivery appointments.
